It was such a pleasure collaborating with Henry of Aevitas Weddings to craft a new custom Showit website design. Aevitas Weddings is a Los Angeles based wedding photographer, and Henry was looking for a new website that would both reflect his incredible wedding photography gifts and match his thoughtful client experiences.
When Henry reached out, he had re-designed his website on the Good Gallery platform a year prior, and had seen a large dip in the quantity and quality of his inquiries ever since. With almost 550 5-star reviews on Yelp, Google, and Wedding Wire, it’s clear that he provides an incredible photography experience for his couples, but something wasn’t connecting on the website front.
Henry’s Custom Showit Website Design
Having worked with a hand full of designers over the last 12 years of building his wedding photography business, Henry was looking to start fresh with a custom Showit website design that would be beautiful and strategic in helping him book more clients, and I was honored he chose me to partner with him.
Henry’s vision was a website that felt elevated, sophisticated, timeless, and gender neutral. We wanted to highlight his amazing photography, position him as a valuable wedding resource for prospective clients with tons of education and tips throughout, and make it incredibly easy for site visitors to say ‘yes’ to Henry as their wedding photographer.
My Favorite Parts of the New Aevitas Weddings Website
I truly love how Henry’s site came together. It’s dynamic and sophisticated, and matches his photography so well. Some of my favorite pieces of his custom Showit website design include:
- The use of video throughout the site. Video adds an incredible texture and life to a website, and allows you to see Henry in action before you even meet him.
- Henry’s FAQ page – He’s truly thought of everything and has provided answers to so many questions a prospective couple might have. We divided the questions by the stage of the wedding planning process, and made the page very interactive so that it’s not just a list of questions and answers.
- Educational value – Planning a wedding for the first time can feel overwhelming, and Henry has done an amazing job curating content to make the process easier. There are 7-10 different pages that focus on the wedding traditions of various cultures and faiths, and a thorough client experience page that walks you through all the stages of what to expect in preparing for your wedding.
